16-Year-Old Arrested in Fatal Shooting of 14-Year-Old Boy Last Month in San Bernardino

In San Bernardino, a heart-wrenching incident unfolded last month when a 14-year-old boy named Ayden Rodriguez was tragically shot near 13th Street and Acacia Avenue. Officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting involving juveniles on Wednesday, March 27. Despite being taken to a medical facility, Ayden succumbed to his gunshot wound.

Recently, the San Bernardino police made a significant breakthrough in the case. They executed search warrants and apprehended a 16-year-old suspect on Wednesday, April 10. The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, faces allegations of murder. During the search, authorities recovered a firearm that matched evidence found at the shooting scene.
